How Does It Work?
How Does It Work?
The activity includes weekly soccer practice, weekly social activities, and monthly tournaments in which 12 regional teams meet for a celebration of sports spirit and values.
The practice sessions and social centres are uniquely planned to focus on female empowerment, life skills development, leadership, confidence building, developing a sense of belonging, and more. Throughout the year the participants meet female leaders from different sectors, to prepare the generation of future leaders and strengthen their sense of ability.
The Sports Field as a Bridge to Social Cohesion
We are proud of the wide geographical distribution and the participants’ diversity of gender, religion, and cultural background. We work to connect different societies in Israel, using sports to get to know each other, to connect, and to develop relationships.
Alongside the focus on female empowerment, the practice sessions and social activities also aim to instill respect and equality, and to prevent violence and racism.
Sports as a Key to Narrowing Gender Gaps
Engaging in sports helps develop life skills that are a foundation for future success: leadership, teamwork, perseverance and facing challenges.
Advancing Women’s Soccer
The program gives thousands of girls an opportunity to become part of a soccer team in a comfortable, pleasant, and attractive environment.
Developing Values and Personal Abilities
A unique program focused on instilling tolerance and mutual respect, while strengthening self-confidence and realizing each participant’s potential.
